When you decide a gunite pool with Custom Pool Pros is the right choice for you, we set up a one-on-one consultation with a member of our design team. They will assess your backyard area and help your decide on the right style for your specific needs.

After you commit to our team, the designer will go to work on brining your ideas to life! We make sure you’re included throughout the entire design process and once the design in finalized, our crew will get to work! The CCP crew will dig your site based on your architectural plans so that the rebar grid is created to support the gunite shell. After gunite cures which takes up to 7-10 days, it’s time to choose tile and coping! Our customers ae ore than welcomed to come into our showroom to make decisions.

Lay Out MeetingIn anticipation of the permit’s approval, a member of the CPP team will stake out and spray paint the outline of the proposed pool location to scale. Approximately one week later,  a CPP member will come out to confirm the location to assure the project is meeting your expectations.

The CPP crew will use top of the line industry equipment to excavate your pool according to your approval, survey stake outs and engineer prepared grading plans.

Special, Built in Pool Features

Built in, under ground special pool features such as automatic covers, in pool bar stools, swim up bars, sun shelves, spas, and more are built into the structure at this time. In this phase we use rebar to form out any features in preparation for spraying Gunite in the concrete phase.

Gunite or concrete is sprayed precisely to fill in the rebar grid to perfectly sculpt your pool and its every feature creating a secure exterior that will last for years to come.

Pool Water PlumbingOur in-house team installs pool plumbing pipes. In the process of installing pool water plumbing, the CPP team trenches around your pool leading to the approved pool equipment location. Hard pipes are used to connect the pool equipment of your choice.

Pool Electric

In the excavated trenched, electrical conduits are placed and run under ground to a junction box leading to your pool equipment for LED pool lighting.

Electric & Gas

Licensed electricians and gas plumbers will carefully connect to already installed pool equipment.

Waterline Tile and CopingClient selected coping is installed along the beam of the pool. Client selected 6” Frost Proof tile is installed directly below the coping along the water line of the pool. Options for natural stone coping is available, ask our design team!

Rough Grading, Soil Removal, Trucking for Soil Removal and Backfill Trenches

If your agreement calls for rough grading, soil removal and/or the trenches to be backfilled, this is performed in preparation for paver patio installation and rough backyard leveling. 

Paver Patio CPP offers many choices of patio materials that can be placed around your pool to satisfy even the most particular clients wants and needs. Choices range from man-made pavers to natural stones.

Drainage

An engineer planned, and town approved drainage system is installed.

Fence

If not already in your quote details we recommend to budget for fence, landscaping, soil removal, plumbing, electric, pool equipment location, pool cover, and drainage (depending on your patio size).

Can I build a pool in my small backyard?

When the whole process of building a pool is completed, how do I fill it up with water?

With a water truck or fill from your garden hose.
