Our Design and Build Process With YOU In Mind

We have developed this Design and Build process over the years so that your experience of realizing your dream pool is pleasant, efficient and memorable. At Custom Pool Pros, we have the in-house capability of managing the entire process starting with designing your project to building it! There are many options and features to consider when thinking of building your dream pool and backyard. It only starts with the Pool, but to build the entire project you need to consider items such as patio, lighting, fencing and more. Throughout the entire project you will have one source of contact simplifying the experience for you.

Phase 1. Meeting, Site Evaluation and Project Wish-List

After a brief phone conversation and/or e-mail correspondence we will obtain basic project information and schedule an initial consultation. At this meeting we will review the property photos, survey of the property, and go over your wish-list as well as your ideas for the project. Here we will also review with you our extensive project portfolio to help develop your ideas and gain a better understanding of project scope, style, details, and determine the budget.

Phase 2. Project Cost Estimate and Design Concept (2-D or 3-D Drawings)

In this step of the process, we will create a presentation that will not only show the design but will also clearly depict all the items from your wish-list. Some revisions will be made to get the ideas to match the wish-list and budget considerations. We will incorporate pool location, shape and features in the pool such as raised beams, sun shelfs, lighting, spas and more. We will also depict patios, materials to be used for the patio and method of installation. Then we will insert secondary and tertiary features such as BBQ’s, Fire Pits, Chimney’s, Pavilions, Landscaping, Lighting, and Retaining Walls. With the design done and budget considerations set, we now go into the exact pricing phase. Here we fine tune drawings until we get to a final design, price, and construction plans for the township. This phase takes the most times and needs to involve all decision makers.

Phase 3. Build and Project Management

By the 3rd phase, we should all be on the same page with your wish-list, design and budget. You should now understand the scope of the work as well as the timing needed to complete the project. All concerns should be addressed as we enter into the contract. After the contract is signed all permits are prepared and submitted promptly to the respective town building department. Once the plans are approved the building starts. We work 5 to 6 days a week till the project is completed and released to you. To ensure alignment we maintain almost daily phone conversations and weekly progress meetings.
